Tyler's birthday and Elizabeth's FIRST Date!

Friday was Tyler's 29th birthday. We had a super day as a family. He was off of work so that gave him a chance to sleep in, at least til 9:30. (Hey, face it that is sleeping in when you have kids!) We spent the whole day not doing too much, and then we went to dinner with some good friends/neighbors, the Westbo's. William is in the Air Force and Tiffany is a stay at home mom like me. They have 3 kids; Devon-7, Peyton-4, Danial-4 months. We went to eat at TJ's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. Tyler even got on the horsey saddle while they gave him a famous, YEEHAW! Then we came home and had birthday cake. When I asked Tyler a few weeks ago what kind of cake he wanted he said a cupcake. So I purchased a giant cupcake pan and made him a giant cupcake birthday cake. It was totally cool and the kids of course loved it. We had such a good time and the kids made a mess, but were quiet and happy. Elizabeth and her boyfriend, Danial ate their "birthday" cereal while sitting in their Bumbo chairs. Check out the picture of William playing chaparone on Elizabeth's first date. What is too funny is little Danial, he has his fingers in his mouth as if he is worried! We can't wait to see you all soon. As the weather turns cooler I know it means we are closer to coming home. Love to you all.
