Our First Christmas

Last Christmas was bittersweet, as you all know. We weren't sure of the fate of our little guy. Geez, we didn't even know that he was a guy at the time. We were excited at the prospect of becoming parents but were scared for the life of our "little Baby A." Here we are a year later with a healthy happy 14 pound baby boy. And an 18 pound little brother!!!

So it is with much joy that I post this picture of our little guys in their church Christmas outfits. Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!!!!!

I'm Dreaming of a BRIGHT Christmas!

Here are a few pictures from the Bright family party! It is nice in life to have some things always be the same...same location...same food...same crazy gift exchange with confused rules! There was only one sad thing that wasn't the same...I am used the Stephen Bright Sr. family dominating in numbers...we were sadly short Maria and Tyler and TJ and Jessica...it seemed so sad with out you guys! Here are some pictures from the annual shin-dig!

Maddi and Clair ~ two cute cousins!

Dad and big Ben just hanging out!

Kate and Papa making Alex laugh!

Mom and KT cookin' in Mimi's kitchen!

Got A Lot Done

Well, we got a lot done this weekend. After snuggling with the boys a little on Saturday morning and feeding them breakfast, they went down for a nap. Creighton and I were able to clean and organize the garage as it was starting to look really junky. We are so happy that we can walk around our cars now with out having to maneauver around toys and other assorted junk.

The boys were so good for us when we went to lunch and to Clairs 4th birthday party! Happy Birthday Cwair Bear! We love you girlie.

They are such sweet little guys. Speaking of, here's another pic from the set I took of them in matching outfits sitting on the love seat.

Our li'l punkins

How cute are these little guys?

Halloween

I must say these are the best looking Wizard of Oz Characters I've ever seen. They are so cute. I really like the Cowardly Lion, he's a real tuff looking lion. What can I say they are our grandchildren and to quote a lady in the shop "I have the prettiest grandchildren" - Can't argue with that. Hope they all had fun. Love, Oma

C - L - E - M - S - O - N

We took our German friends to the Clemson game on Saturday. It was SOOOOOO hot. They really had a good time and the tigers won. So, all and all it was a good day. I think we have them converted to Clemson-ism! Three more tigers in the world...it's a beautiful thing. Marco said it was the best American experience they have had! Go Tigers!

First Day of School

It is with total mixed emotions that I post these pictures! It seems like just yesterday I was holding her in my arms for the first time. Where has the time gone. She looked so grown up and pretty this morning. Her eyes were shinning and mostly confident with a trace of uncertainty of what this new adventure would hold for her. She was brave...only I, her mother, could see that small part of her that wasn't sure of things. My little girl...off to her first day of school!

Back to School Dinner

Last night we had our special family dinner...Back to School Celebration. I made School pasta...shaped like letters (great pasta and holds it shape REALLY well!), spinach salad, garlic bread, and green beans. For dessert we had a brownie pencil! We ate in the dinning room with cloth napkins and everything. The kids loved it! Clair wanted to know why I gave her two forks! Kate wanted to toast with the fancy glasses! After we ate dinner Stephen gave the each of the girls a fathers blessing. Then we quickly ate our dessert and watched HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL TWO! It was a fun night....but a rough morning...Kate was up at 4:00 AM sick to her stomach and has been sick every hour since! Poor girl! Keep her in your prayers...she will be SO sad if she misses the first day of school! :( Anyway...here are pictures of the fun times!

Fish Cake

Here is the cake I made for our neighborhood end of the summer swim party. KT even brought Ben and Alex for a little pool fun...although Ben slept the whole time and Alex cried when KT put his feet in the water. I didn't get any pictures at the pool...watching three kids is hard enough without trying to take photos too...but here is a picture of my cake...Got to love family fun for ideas!

Bowen is forward facing!

We put Bowen forward facing a few weeks early. He was SO long his poor legs were all squished up in his old seat. I am sure it was a huge safety violation (as Clair says). I must say, out of all our kids, he acted the most cool! He really likes his arm rests, but other than that, there was no excitement! (Remember Clair...her eyes were as big as dinner plates and she was gripping the edge of her seat for dear life!) Anyway, I just wanted to share the pictures from this big coming of age event!

Children's Museum

Last week we (our neighbors came along too) took a drive down to the capital city of Columbia to visit the South Carolina's Children's Museum. It was SOOOOOO cool! We had tons of fun. Poor Bowen got tired of sitting in his stroller, but at the end he got to play on the bug playground like a big kid and LOVED it! Clair's favorite part of the museum was the grocery store. Kate liked milking the cow best. It was a blast!
