Spring Update!

I thought the old family blog needed a little Spring update! Hope you enjoy it. Mom, if any part is really hard for dad to read, let me know and I will try to change it up!

FHE - Painting Pandemonium

So our Socialist Overlords - AKA Homeowners Association told us we need
to paint our fence this awful grey color!
So in a moment of brainlessness...we planned to have the kids help us! They loved it!
Bowen helped for a while, until he tried to sample the paint on his brush!
Then he was sent to play in the sandbox! Kate and Clair worked until the sun went down! All the kids were covered in paint! The stuff in their hair was the worse! The girls did finally admit to having paint flicking wars! The fence isn't done yet, but we almost got the whole outside done!
Thanks to all the helping hands & Casadei's paint gun! Way to go Team Bright Painting Company!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Paddy's day. It was so nice on Tuesday that the boys and I went to the swings and for a walk around the neighborhood.

NKOTB

As some of you already know, I was given two free tickets to go and see NKOTB. I gave the other one to KT! Here with are with Joey on stage behind us!The seats were in an executive box and were very close, if not a little too much to the side. However, the concert was fun and VERY loud! Plus, the girl who we got the tickets from was super sweet and tons of fun! (Please ignore my "crazy eyes" and cheesy smile in this photo!)Here are just a few highlights!

And a few video clips....remember it was loud...might want to turn down your speakers! (I love the end of the first one...KT and Yashi going crazy!)

A Trip to the Zoo

For Christmas, Jack and Mary Ann got us a membership to the zoo. It's nice because now we don't have to bum passes off of our friends all the time. Since the weather was so nice earlier this week a few of us from the Moms of Multiples group met up and had a little trip to the zoo. The kids loved playing at the little playground inside the zoo. Alex, Ben and their friend Zachary (they were the only boys out of the seven kids that were there) got into a pile of leaves and began throwing them on each other. They thought it was hilarious! We didn't get any pictures of it. But trust me........they were COVERED in leaves! Here's a pic of all the kids together.

Pics of the Boys in the Snow

So we went out the morning after it snowed and took about 500 pictures of the boys in the snow. When I went to take the SD card out of the camera to put the pictures on my computer (and then on the blog) there was no card in the camera! It was still in the computer from the night before. UGH! So after the boys got up from their nap that day, we went back out and faked some pictures. So here's to hoping for snow next winter so I can actually have some real pictures of them in the powdery morning snow. Not the half-melted crunchy junk that's in these pictures. In any case, we hope you enjoy.

South Carolina Snow

These aren't pictures from Christmas! This is a rare Spring snow storm that blanketed the southeast! School was closed and we had a fun day playing in the snow, making snow cream, sledding, and watching movies. The snow is melting now, but I think we will be in for some ice covered roads for a few days! Stephen took care of the most important things first...shoveling walks...NO...cleaning off the dish so he can get his FOX News fix!

Snuggling With Mommy on the Couch

Tonight we watched the Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (for the fifteen billionth time). Ben climbed up on the couch and snuggled with me while we watched it. It was quite sweet. The boys are so active that snuggling is a rarity around here so I totally ate it up!

Alex came over after we snapped these pics and climbed up, too. Though I think he just wanted to vogue for the camera because as soon as Creighton was done snapping.........he ran away and sat in the floor by himself.

It's SNOWING!!!

We're supposed to get 8 inches. The lights have flickered a little so we may lose power. I've already warned y'all who live in other areas of the state that aren't getting snow........if we lose power, we're heading your way!
