The latest Princeton Review is out and look at where Clemson was listed...

Clemson ranked first in the “happiest students” and “jock schools” categories. The jock schools category reflects popularity of intercollegiate, intramural and Greek sports.
Clemson placed second for good town-gown relations with the city, and sixth for best quality of life.
Clemson ranked seventh in two categories: for its athletic facilities and the popularity of intercollegiate sports, and eighth in two others: career and job placement services and participation in intramural sports.Clemson also ranked 20th in a category dubbed “School runs like butter,” which gives high marks to the administration.

Good old BYU took first in my favorite category...Stone Cold Sober!

The University of South Carolina is profiled in the book as one of Princeton Review’s 368 best colleges but didn’t appear in any of the “top 20” ranking lists. - Awww too bad! :)

A Trip to the Zoo

Here are some pictures from our trip to the Columbia zoo. We really wish all our cousins and family could have been there with us...it would have made the day even better! We still had a pretty good time and got to see & do some neat things like...

Making Pants for the Boys

Here are some pics of the pants I'm making for the boys to wear for Jessica & Josh's reception.

Alex Had Roseola :(

I guess what he had was Roseola because he broke out in a rash on Sunday morning. Ben's been running a fever but today (Monday) he's better. Both of the boys have runny noses so I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Out with the Old and in with the New

We have a new look in the foyer. Hope you will like it. The bookcase Jessica and I painted black. The mirror I took apart and sprayed the frame black and then misted silver paint over top. I changed the frames on the pictures "The Living Christ" and the "Proclamation" and hung the "Proclamation" beside the front door. The frame that had "The Living Christ" went with the walls better.

The hall bathroom is now being updated. On Wednesday Craig Holmes our tile man will come and lay the tile on the floor and around the shower. These pics are how the demolishing looks. This job has become to much for dads arm so we have hired a young man from the Ward to come and bust up our bathroom. Dad and Earl will hang green board around the outside of the tub (where the white patch use to be) and then we will have a new look after I paint the walls. And yes Katie I am going to paint them a Khaki color, it will be nice.
