Strawberry Fields Forever

Last week we went with our friends Manuela and Katharina to a local strawberry field and picked FIVE GALLONS! Well, Bowen didn't pick...he ATE and ATE and ATE! The fun picking was followed by tons of work in the kitchen making jam and freezing strawberries! I made four runs of jam and put up 7 freezer bags of sliced and sugared strawberries. Super Hero TJ

So, TJ's favorite TV show right now is Wonder Pets on Nick JR. We love it because the animals are always trying to help each other out and other animals. On the show the the Wonder Pets wear super hero capes. TJ has been wanting a cape to wear and for a few weeks we used a make shift blankie cape. I was googling one day and found a cape tutorial and thought I would try it. So these are the results. Not TOO shabby. It is a two sided cape. I made one side Wonder Pets (W) and one side Super"man" TJ (S). Hope you like them. Love to you all!

Easter Cadbury Egg

Sorry that this Easter pic is just now making it on the blog, but I guess better late than never. TJ had his VERY first ever Cadbury Egg, (Thank you, Ether Bunny!) Actually, the Cadbury Egg was Tyler's, and TJ confiscated it. Here is a pic of him in a comatose state on the couch. Yum! Love to you all.

Happy Mother's Day
