We took our German friends to the Clemson game on Saturday. It was SOOOOOO hot. They really had a good time and the tigers won. So, all and all it was a good day. I think we have them converted to Clemson-ism! Three more tigers in the world...it's a beautiful thing. Marco said it was the best American experience they have had! Go Tigers!

Back to School Dinner
Last night we had our special family dinner...Back to School Celebration. I made School pasta...shaped like letters (great pasta and holds it shape REALLY well!), spinach salad, garlic bread, and green beans. For dessert we had a brownie pencil! We ate in the dinning room with cloth napkins and everything. The kids loved it! Clair wanted to know why I gave her two forks! Kate wanted to toast with the fancy glasses! After we ate dinner Stephen gave the each of the girls a fathers blessing. Then we quickly ate our dessert and watched HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL TWO! It was a fun night....but a rough morning...Kate was up at 4:00 AM sick to her stomach and has been sick every hour since! Poor girl! Keep her in your prayers...she will be SO sad if she misses the first day of school! :( Anyway...here are pictures of the fun times!
Fish Cake
Here is the cake I made for our neighborhood end of the summer swim party. KT even brought Ben and Alex for a little pool fun...although Ben slept the whole time and Alex cried when KT put his feet in the water. I didn't get any pictures at the pool...watching three kids is hard enough without trying to take photos too...but here is a picture of my cake...Got to love family fun for ideas!

Bowen is forward facing!
We put Bowen forward facing a few weeks early. He was SO long his poor legs were all squished up in his old seat. I am sure it was a huge safety violation (as Clair says). I must say, out of all our kids, he acted the most cool! He really likes his arm rests, but other than that, there was no excitement! (Remember Clair...her eyes were as big as dinner plates and she was gripping the edge of her seat for dear life!) Anyway, I just wanted to share the pictures from this big coming of age event!

Children's Museum
Last week we (our neighbors came along too) took a drive down to the capital city of Columbia to visit the South Carolina's Children's Museum. It was SOOOOOO cool! We had tons of fun. Poor Bowen got tired of sitting in his stroller, but at the end he got to play on the bug playground like a big kid and LOVED it! Clair's favorite part of the museum was the grocery store. Kate liked milking the cow best. It was a blast!

Sleepy Sunday
This Sunday Schedule of going to church at 1pm is killing poor TJ. Today while Tyler and I were getting ready TJ went in his room and got his blankie and rocked himself to sleep on the ottoman. Funny pic. Just letting you know we still read the blog and we enjoyed our visit. Love to you ALL!

Cousins!
I finally let Bowen take a peek at Ben yesterday when I was watching my little nephew! I was a little worried, but Bowen was very gentle and Ben slept through the whole encounter! Bowen was very excited! (See the blurry picture!) I couldn't help but snap a picture when I realized they were holding hands. It didn't last but a few seconds, but I thought it was sweet. Once Bowen realized Ben was too sleepy to play he moved on!
(It won't let me post pictures right now...I'll post them later! Sorry!)

Playing Hard in Wyoming
This is an old picture of TJ but I thought I would post it. TJ has been having such a great time lately the weather here has been B-E-A-U-tiful. Today the high was 82 and we had our windows open and it felt great inside, HUMIDITY, what is this that you speak of? We love our humidity free living. I told Tyler that there is NO way under the sun that in Charleston we would have had our windows open with it being 80 + degrees. Anyhoo. TJ and I have been playing it cool while Tyler has been gone. We have had a busy first week and now we only have two more to go. TJ and I are leaving on Thursday to go to Denver for a week. We miss you all and can't wait til little Alex can come home so we can too. Love to you all.
